How it works

From choosing your car to handing it back, here is what happens at each stage of an Innovation Drive subscription.

  1. Stage 1: Choose your car

    Browse the cars and open any listing to see its monthly payment, first payment, one-off joining fee, included mileage, minimum commitment and notice period.

    Pick a mileage option if more than one is offered. The price updates straight away, so there are no surprises later.

  2. Stage 2: Apply online

    Create an account and tell us about yourself, the driver and how you'll use the car. You can save your application and come back to it.

    We may ask for documents such as your driving licence through your secure account. We never ask for card or bank login details in the application.

  3. Stage 3: We review your application

    A member of the team reviews every application. If we need anything else, we'll ask through your account.

    Submitting an application doesn't reserve a car, and approval isn't automatic.

  4. Stage 4: Review your offer and agreement

    If your application is approved, you'll receive an offer that fixes the price, joining fee, mileage and terms. Nothing changes after you accept it unless you agree to a new offer.

    You then complete your subscription agreement through your account.

  5. Stage 5: Make your first payment

    Payments are taken through our payment provider's secure page, never in an application form. Your offer shows exactly what is collected and when.

  6. Stage 6: Insurance and handover

    Before the car is handed over, we confirm insurance is in place for you, the car and your permitted use, whether it is included in your price or arranged for an extra charge. We'll then agree a handover date with you.

    Your subscription starts at handover, not when you create an account or pay.

  7. Stage 7: While you drive

    Your account shows your car, monthly payment, next payment date, mileage allowance and documents. Request servicing or report a maintenance issue through your account.

  8. Stage 8: Ending your subscription

    You can ask to end your subscription online at any time. We record the date we receive your request straight away and show your end date under your agreement's notice terms, along with how the car is returned.
